really love all the panels of the stream layout!
i grew up reading manga anime from the library that i couldn't read but had to piece the story together from the pictures haha
we're expanding to more non-supes though! seeing some fun stuff with anime, tv characters, etc.
100% agree with kevin about we bring them in the door with the superheroes but exposing them to more
got it in comics with Gambit and X-Men but then found my way over to things like Blankets, Pride of Baghdad, etc. Supes is just the gateway drug haha
Brandon gave me a storyboard from adventure time at emerald city years ago

Hello all....glad to catch this live
Panosian's Slots is a solid book.
Ive heard mangaka talking about considering the word balloons as another visual element of the page.
Good representation of boxing in comics.
Thats the reasoning behind the balloon being the most important thing in a panel when something important is being said, among other things

I'm watching the Corto Maltese animated series on youtube...they are really good.
yeah some of them are in english on youtube...really good voice actors for it.
The NBM ones are the best American editions.
I also recommend this weird travel guide to Venice, "The Secret Venice of Corto Maltese," has a lot of context for Pratt and Venice.
