About the artist: Misuzu Sasaki is a highly acclaimed manga artist whose career has spanned more than 40 years in the manga and video game industries. She began her career as a member of the art team for Konami's legendary video game Castlevania (1986) and has since created hundreds of manga works.
Her manga adaptations of Super Mario Bros. and Tamagotchi (both published under a different pen name) have been beloved by generations of young readers, and she has also illustrated hundreds of Harlequin manga adaptations. In addition, she is well known for her horror manga, earning the nickname "Queen of Lyrical Horror" among fans for her distinctive blend of elegance, emotion, and psychological horror.
