BRING ON THE BAD GUYS DC VARIANT TRIBUTE COLOR PRINT SIGNED MARK MORALES

This 11x17 color print depicts a re-imagining of John Romita Sr.'s cover to the original Marvel Fireside Book "Bring on the Bad Guys" by Stan Lee (1976) by artist MARK MORALES. It replaces the original Marvel bad guys with DC versions Darkseid, Black Adam, Joker, Deathstroke, Lex Luthor, Harley Quinn and Sinestro. Marvel is currently celebrating the upcoming 50th Anniversary of this legendary collection with their "Bring on the Bad Guys" summer/fall event. The print was signed & donated by Mark to support the non-profit Inkwell Awards at the 2024 Garden State Comic Fest. (Note: the og Romita cover image is for reference and is NOT included with the new tribute/homage print.)

The Inkwell Awards (www.inkwellawards.com) is the only official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and educate regarding the art form of comic-book inking, as well as annually recognize the best ink artists and their work. Established in 2008, the Inkwells are overseen by a volunteer committee of industry professionals and assisted by various professional ambassadors and contributors. They sponsor the Dave Simons Inkwell Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Kubert School and host the Joe Sinnott Hall of Fame Award. Their annual awards ceremony has been hosted by the Hershey Comic Con since 2024.
