Magik and Colossus by Daisuke Kadokuni - Pen, Acrylic and Gold/Silver foil on A4 size canvas
JAPAN COMIC ART EXPO proudly presents: Daisuke Kadokuni Art Auction!
Daisuke Kadokuni (稜之大介) is a Japanese manga artist best known for his work in Jump Square magazine. He gained recognition for his series Akiba Zaijū, which was serialized in Jump SQ. Kadokuni also collaborated with legendary manga writer Kazuo Koike (Lone Wolf and Cub) to create a ninja-themed manga titled Hagakure. Koike was deeply impressed by Kadokuni's artwork and had promised to write a long-awaited sequel to Lone Wolf and Cub once Hagakure was completed. Unfortunately, this plan could not come to fruition due to Koike's passing in 2018.
This listing is Kadokuni-Sendai’s first painting of American comic book characters. Beautifully rendered in acrylic painting with the unique use of Gold and Silver foils! Please check out the video link to see the details of this painting.
Don’t miss this chance to own a rare original art by one of the industry's legends!
