This is a SPLASH PAGE of hand-inked original art by artist VIC MOYA over the blueline pencils by MATTS ENGESTEN of iconic American heavy metal band METALLICA and the late, legendary front man OZZY OSBOURNE. It was published in ROCK-n-ROLL BIOGRAPHIES: METALLICA #1 page 11 by Acme Ink. It was signed & donated by Victor the summer of 2021 to the non-profit Inkwell Awards. Not only is this a fantastic gift for comics fans but it is a perfect collectible one-of-a-kind gift for heavy metal and other music fans. This piece is reminiscent of 1986-1987 when Ozzy fronted Metallica for such songs as "Iron Man" and "Paranoid."

NOTE: there's a minor, soft crease in the top left corner and a small dent on the right top edge.

The Inkwell Awards is the only official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and educate regarding the art form of comic-book inking, as well as annually recognize the best ink artists and their work. Established in 2008, the Inkwells are overseen by a volunteer committee of industry professionals and assisted by various professional ambassadors and contributors. They sponsor the Dave Simons Inkwell Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Kubert School and host the Joe Sinnott Hall of Fame Award. Their annual awards ceremony has been hosted by the Hershey Comic Con since 2024.
