You are bidding on an 11"x17" color print of the cover of Marvel's New Mutants #24 (1984). This cover was by BILL SIENKIEWICZ. The artwork was signed by JIM SHOOTER and was donated at the 2017 Heroes Con to benefit the 501(c)(3) Inkwell Awards. This includes a certificate of authenticity.

Jim Shooter: 1951-2025 Jim was an Inkwell ambassador who supported our mission for 13 years, from 2012 until his death. We are offering these remaining donations for those who want a keepsake that was offered and signed by Jim.

Appreciation is also given to the Joe Kubert Art Store and Bags Unlimited Inc. for their usual support.

The Inkwell Awards (www.inkwellawards.com) is the only official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and educate regarding the art form of comic-book inking, as well as annually recognize the best ink artists and their work. Established in 2008, the Inkwells are overseen by a volunteer committee of industry professionals and assisted by various professional ambassadors and contributors. They sponsor the Dave Simons Inkwell Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Kubert School and host the Joe Sinnott Hall of Fame Award. Their annual awards ceremony has been hosted by the Hershey Comic Con since 2024.
