This is an original illustration of Red Sonja, created traditionally on A4 paper (9 × 12 inches).
The piece was developed with a focus on strong character presence and vibrant colors. Red Sonja is portrayed with confidence and attitude, carrying her iconic axe over her shoulder.
During the creative process, I initially planned to create a completely different background. However, as the illustration evolved, I decided to change the concept and create a bold red background with splatter effects, which helps highlight the character and gives the piece a stronger visual impact.
This artwork is hand-drawn and traditionally colored, making it a unique one-of-a-kind piece.
