Japan Comic Art Expo presents a NEW SERIESE: Original Manga ART. In addition to our collection of American character artworks by renowned Japanese artists, we are now introducing original manga pieces created entirely from the artists’ own imagination.

This piece features Kadokuni-sensei’s original Samurai Character with a flavor of Japanese SF mech, brought to life with his signature style. Expertly rendered, the artwork showcases a stunning blend of pen work and a dazzling touch of gold and silver foil, creating a truly unique and captivating composition. The canvas measures 45 × 15 cm (approximately 17.7 × 5.9 inches).

About the aritist: Daisuke Kadokuni (稜之大介) is a Japanese manga artist best known for his work in Jump Square magazine. He gained recognition for his series Akiba Zaijū, which was serialized in Jump SQ. Kadokuni also collaborated with legendary manga writer Kazuo Koike (Lone Wolf and Cub) to create a ninja-themed manga titled Hagakure. Koike was deeply impressed by Kadokuni's artwork and had promised to write a long-awaited sequel to Lone Wolf and Cub once Hagakure was completed. Unfortunately, this plan could not come to fruition due to Koike's passing in 2018.
