Hey hey hey!
Excited to share this Wonder Woman piece (#003) with you all! It’s the third painting/drawing in a new watercolor series I’m doing called Sexy Superheroes.
I’m learning about the dark history some of these comic book characters. Wonder Woman has a wild origin. Her creator, William Moulton Marston, was also the inventor of the lie detector which inspired her lasso of truth! Marston and his wife were polyamorous and lived with two female lovers. One of the lovers, Olive Byrne, wore two bracelets. This guy definitely brought his work home (and brought his home life to work). It goes even deeper, but I’ll save it for a future Raremarq-campfire story.
Keep an eye out for my other pieces listing soon: Poison Ivy, Catwoman, She Hulk, Harley Quinn and many more!
