Alfred Pennyworth is the heart of the Batman mythos. While he is not an action hero, Alfred is essential to the Dark Knight's story. Original art featuring him is surprisingly poignant; collectors look for scenes where he is stitching up Bruce Wayne's wounds or offering a dry, sarcastic comment in the Batcave.
