ARGUS Original Art

A.R.G.U.S. (Advanced Research Group Uniting Super-Humans) is DC's answer to SHIELD. A government agency tasked with dealing with metahuman threats. Led by Steve Trevor or Amanda Waller depending on the era.

Their black tactical gear and high-tech weaponry are staples of modern DC books. They act as the liaison between the Justice League and the US Government. They house the Black Room (magical artifacts) and the Circus (Suicide Squad holding cell). They represent the government's attempt to control the uncontrollable.
