Beast Original Art

Beast (Hank McCoy) is a founding X-Man, a bouncing blue bundle of fur and genius. He is the team's heart and brain. Visually, he has evolved from a human with big feet to a blue ape-man, to a cat-like form, and back. His agility allows for incredible acrobatic poses in art.

He is one of the few mutants to be a core Avengers member. His friendship with Wonder Man is legendary. Modern arcs show a darker, morally ambiguous side to his science, but classic pages feature him hanging upside down while reading a book. He represents the duality of animalistic appearance and sophisticated intellect.
