Ben Daimio is the scarred field commander of the B.P.R.D. A former marine cursed by a jaguar god, he transforms into a were-jaguar under stress. His design—massive facial scarring and military fatigues—contrasts with the more supernatural members of the team.

Guy Davis's art captures the gruesome reality of his transformation. Daimio represents the military side of the Bureau, often clashing with the "freaks" while being one himself. His eventual fate and the revelation of his grandmother's connection to the Crimson Lotus are key plot points in the Plague of Frogs saga.
