Bishop (Lucas Bishop) is a time-traveling cop from a dystopian future. He wears the "M" brand over his eye (marking him as a mutant). He absorbs and redirects energy. His mulch/gun-toting 90s design is iconic.

He came back to stop a traitor in the X-Men. His role shifted from hero to villain (hunting Hope Summers) and back to captain. He represents the militant, survivalist soldier. His energy powers allow artists to draw glowing, charged fists and massive blasts.
