Conan the Barbarian Original Art

Hither came Conan, the Cimmerian... Conan the Barbarian is the grandfather of sword and sorcery. His comic art is legendary, defined by Barry Windsor-Smith and John Buscema in Conan the Barbarian and Savage Sword of Conan. The black-and-white magazine format of Savage Sword allowed for more violence and nudity, creating lush, painted masterpieces of anatomy and texture.

Collectors seek pages of Conan fighting giant snakes, wizards, or armies. He is pure muscle and instinct. His recent integration into the main Marvel Universe (Savage Avengers) has him teaming up with Wolverine and Venom.
