Norman Osborn is the Lex Luthor to Spider-Man's Superman, but infinitely more insane. The Green Goblin is the arch-nemesis of the wall-crawler. His visual design is terrifying—a goblin mask, purple tunic, and the iconic Goblin Glider. He flies through the NYC skyline throwing pumpkin bombs, creating chaotic aerial battle scenes that look incredible on paper.
Classic artists like John Romita Sr. and Gil Kane established his look. The death of Gwen Stacy is the most famous Green Goblin story, marking the end of the Silver Age. Collectors look for pages featuring the Glider and the Pumpkin Bombs in action.
