The Inhumans are a genetic offshoot of humanity, ruled by a Royal Family. They live in the hidden city of Attilan (often on the Moon). They undergo Terrigenesis, exposing themselves to mists that grant powers but can cause monstrous mutations.

Black Bolt (Silent King) and Medusa (Queen with living hair) lead them. Jack Kirby's designs are alien and regal. They represent a caste-based society, often dealing with political intrigue and isolationism. Their dog, Lockjaw (a giant teleporting bulldog), is the fan favorite.
