The Legion of Doom is the ultimate super-villain team. Modeled after the Challenge of the Superfriends cartoon group, the name was canonized in comics later. Led by Lex Luthor, it gathers the arch-enemies of the Justice League.

Their base, the Hall of Doom (looking like Darth Vader's helmet rising from a swamp), is iconic. Scott Snyder's Justice League run made them a cosmic threat hunting for the Totality. They represent the organized antithesis to the League—power without responsibility.
