Mercy Graves is Lex Luthor's personal bodyguard and chauffeur. Originally created for Superman: The Animated Series, she migrated to comics. She is cool, professional, and deadly, often wearing a chauffeur's uniform or tactical gear.

It is often hinted (or confirmed in Young Justice) that she is an Amazon, explaining her ability to go toe-to-toe with super-powered threats. She is the stoic foil to Harley Quinn's chaos in team-ups. Mercy represents absolute loyalty to Lex Luthor, often doing his dirty work with ruthless efficiency.
