Quicksilver Original Art

Pietro Maximoff is the speedster of the Marvel Universe. Quicksilver is arrogant, impatient, and protective of his sister, Scarlet Witch. Visually, his silver hair and lightning-bolt costume (often blue or green) are distinct. Artists use speed lines to depict his power, similar to the Flash, but Quicksilver's style is often sharper and more angular.

He has been an Avenger, an X-Man, and a villain. His time in X-Factor (Peter David run) is a fan favorite, exploring his abrasive personality. He is (historically) the son of Magneto.

He was married to Crystal of the Inhumans. His rivalry with the Flash (in crossovers) is a common debate topic.
