Ororo Munroe, the weather witch. Storm is one of the most powerful and regal figures in comics. As an Omega-level mutant, her art is defined by spectacle—lightning bolts, tornadoes, and massive capes filling the panel. She was the first black female superhero to play a major role in the big two publishers, giving her art historical significance.

Storm has had several distinct "Looks" that collectors hunt for. The original Dave Cockrum tiara-and-cape look is classic. The "Punk Storm" (Mohawk and leather) era, designed by Paul Smith, is a cult favorite and highly sought after today. Modern interpretations often return to her regal, goddess-like status. Art featuring her eyes glowing white (using her powers) is generally preferred over standard conversation pages.

Storm has deep connections across the Marvel Universe. She led the X-Men for years, often clashing with Cyclops over leadership. She was also married to Black Panther, making her a temporary member of the Wakandan royal family (and the Fantastic Four). These crossover periods allow collectors to find Storm in non-X-Men titles.
