Description

8.3x11 inch signed Fae illustration by Australian comic and fantasy artist Martin Abel.

Title: We Are Wind Size: 8.3 x 11 inches Paper: Stonehenge Cream Fine Art Paper – 250gsm / 90lb Materials Used: Pencil, Micron pens, Kuretake brush pens, Sepia and Indian Ink wash

Description: A swirling dance of motion and spirit, We Are Wind captures a moment of enchantment and wild elegance. This original piece features a mystical horned figure entwined with gusts of flowing energy, rendered in delicate lines and rich sepia tones. Every detail — from the expressive eyes to the textured background — evokes both softness and strength, mystery and motion.

Created on premium Stonehenge cream paper, this artwork was brought to life with a mix of pencil, fine ink lines, and dynamic brushwork. The use of sepia and Indian ink wash adds an earthy depth, that I was looking to add to my work.

This artwork was an experimentation of where I want to go with my personal work, combining the full depth of texture from an original ink wash drawing with digital colours overlayed afterwards.

This one-of-a-kind original will be shipped worldwide with care and backing for protection.
