Description

IN HONOR OF THE RECORD-BREAKING OPENING OF THE NEW DEMON SLAYER MOVIE IN JAPAN

This special jam drawing was created at the Japan Comic Art Expo on July 5 and 6, 2025. Seven manga/anime/comic artists collaborated to produce this unique piece. It is drawn on a large Shikishi board (410Ă—318mm or 16.14 x 12.52 inches).

One highlight from this jam features Psylocke by Atsushi Ogasawara, a highly acclaimed animation artist. Ogasawara has worked on many of Japan’s top anime titles over his 20+ year career. Most notably, he served as Animation Director for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, including both the TV series and the record-breaking film Mugen Train—the highest-grossing film worldwide in 2022.

Another standout is Jeff the Landshark, sketched by Tokitokoro—a remarkable manga and comic book artist. Toki is one of only two creators to have published official work with Jump (Japan), Marvel, and DC Comics—the other being Kia Asamiya. Even more impressive, Toki achieved this milestone at just 24 years old. Their recent Marvel Rivals comic (cover art by Toki) completely sold out nationwide, and currently illustrating both covers and interiors for Jeff the Landshark.
