About the artist: Meimu is a versatile Japanese illustrator and manga artist whose work spans science fiction, horror, and mature drama. He is best known as the original character designer for the acclaimed RPG franchise “Star Ocean” (1996), and for his manga adaptations of several well-known properties, including the visual novel and horror film tie-in The Ring 2.

His major works and collaborations include Kikaider 02: Code: Zero Two and Gasaraki.

Renowned for his precise linework, atmospheric storytelling, and ability to transition seamlessly between genres, Meimu has established himself as a highly respected figure in the world of Japanese manga and illustration.
