Salvador Sanz was born in Buenos Aires in 1975. He studied at the Manuel Belgrano National School of Fine Arts, where he obtained the title of National Master of Drawing, and later that of Professor of Painting at the Prilidiano Pueyrredón. He studied at the Argentine School of Comics (EAH), and studied Animation at the IDAC. In 1994 he participated, as editor and author, in the creation of the magazine Catzole. Within animation, he worked on the feature film Mercano el marciano and made the short films "El Inivisor" and "Gorgonas", the latter winning as best animated short film at COMICON 06 (San Diego, USA), among other awards. In 2006 he released Legion, published in Argentina and Spain by Ivrea, later released in the United States through IDW Publishing. In 2007 Desfigurado was published by Ex Abrupto Ediciones, a compilation of Catzole's series. That same year the series Nocturno was published in the magazine Fierro and in 2009 Ivrea published it in book format. In 2010 it was published in Spain by Ediciones La Cúpula and in 2019 it was released in France (Glenat) and Italy (comma 22). Her graphic novel ANGELA DELLA MORTE consists of two volumes published in the country (Ovni Press), in Spain (EDT), in Brazil (zarabatana books) and in the USA in a new color edition (Red Five Comics). He also worked on the comic REC: 0 about the Spanish film series REC, illustrated "The Call of Chtulhu" by P. H. Lovecraft and "Solomon Kane" by Robert Howard for the publishing house Pictus (Argentina). His new graphic novel "The Skeleton" consists of two volumes published by Ovni Press in Argentina and already has editions in the USA, Brazil and Poland. He also teaches, giving comic classes, and makes storyboards for film and advertising.
