Description

12/1985 - Guest-starring the Sub-Mariner and Stingray. Script by Roger Stern. Art by John Buscema (breakdowns) and Tom Palmer (finishes). Cover by John Buscema and Tom Palmer. The Federal Aviation Administration has grounded the Avengers' quinjets! The majestic aircraft cannot take off or land in Manhattan anymore. Upon hearing of the Avengers' plight, Dr. Walter Newell (aka Stingray) offers the use of Hydro-Base. During the Wasp, Cap, and the rest of the team's visit to the floating island, the Prince of Atlantis stops by. The Sub-Mariner seems somewhat depressed, so Hercules gets an idea to lift his spirits! Pick a fight with the Avenging Son! The comic features a classic Roger Stern story, with interior art by John Buscema and Tom Palmer, and cover art by Tom Palmer. Iconic Avengers including Hercules and Sub-Mariner are featured on the front cover in an epic clash.
