Description

Summer/1943 - Joe Simon and Jack Kirby cover and art. While the Boy Commandos were a Simon and Kirby creation, only a handful of issues of this title actually had S&K art, and this is one of em -- the duo contributed a whopping 45 pages here. A patriotic buy-war-bonds cover is another plus. The classic golden age WWII-themed cover displays strong colors and features soldiers at war, along with historical wartime bond promotion artwork.
