Description

7/1972 - New story: Gullivar Jones, Warrior of Mars stars in "Wasteland on a Weirdline World!" Script by George Effinger and Gerry Conway, pencils by Ross Andru, inks by Sam Grainger (inspired by the Edwin L. Arnold novel "Lt. Gullivar Jones"). Reprints: "Under the Knife!" with art by Tony DiPreta; and "What Lurks in the Mountain?" with art by Steve Ditko. Kane cover pencils. The issue features Gullivar Jones, Warrior of Mars and 'The Fury of Pyraa!' on the cover. With a dynamic cover and classic Bronze Age storytelling, this comic is an excellent addition to any Marvel collection. The creative team includes Gerry Conway (story) and George Tuska (art), with a striking cover by Gil Kane and Frank Giacoia.
