Description

For true Batman fans and collectors—this is an original piece of Batman movie licensing art created by artist George Pratt for Batman & Robin (1997). • Medium: Brush & Ink (Sumi style) • Size: 14” x 16.5” • Type: Original art, not a print • Commissioned by: DC Comics Licensing Dept. for Batman & Robin starring George Clooney

In the late 1990s, DC asked George Pratt to create bold, sumi brush drawings of Batman for movie promotions. Some of these drawings even appeared on Taco Bell cups and other merchandise. This sheet of drawings comes directly from that body of work.

Pratt’s sumi brush style gave Batman a raw, powerful, and minimalist look designed to appeal to adults. Pieces from this project almost never come to market—making this a rare opportunity to own a true piece of Batman movie history.

Condition: Excellent. Clean sheet, strong inks, no major flaws.

This is a must-have for any serious Batman fan or DC Comics art collector. Don’t miss your chance—when will you see one of these again?

Shipping: Packed flat with full insurance.

I am only parting with this artwork due to ongoing medical issues and in an effort to raise funds for treatment. Your purchase will truly make a difference. A unique addition for any Batman or DC Comics fan.

Up for sale is a rare original illustration by award-winning comic book artist Jae Lee, created as official licensing art for Warner Bros.’ Suicide Squad movie. This piece was commissioned for the film’s marketing campaign and used in posters, advertisements, stickers, and merchandise — making it one of the most iconic images tied to the film’s release.

Unlike many modern illustrations, this artwork was completed in traditional way. The final published version was digitally inked by adjusting contrast levels from this original scan, and colored by Jae’s wife, renowned colorist June Chung. No traditional inks or color layers exist — making it exceptionally rare. It’s a standout piece for collectors of original comic book art, DC fans, and fans of the Joker or Harley Quinn.

A personal note from the seller:

I’m reluctantly letting this piece go due to ongoing medical issues. My loss is your gain. I hope it finds a home with someone who values it as much as I have.
