Description
This Throwdown Thursday challenge is: a page that doesn't feature the main title characters of the book.
In this case, I'm showing the last 2 pages from Spawn 32. I couldn't pick 1 because they compliment each other and showcase GOD portrayed as an elderly woman.
The last panel of Page 22 was also featured as an example of a "soliloquy shot" in Greg Capullo's "Krash Course" that was published in Wizard Magazine.
And page 23 was highlighted by Todd McFarlane to explain why he feels Spawn 32 is 1 of the 10 best Spawn comics ever, with:
There's an issue early on where he supposedly met God and it was a woman, and the last line on it was - and this is even pre-Matrix - it was, "He's the one." Now again, what does that mean? I have a few ideas in my head, but again, it's a big line. Why would God even know who he is and why would God even say that?
