Description
Well, this is one of those pieces I wasn't expecting to get, but I am so glad that I did.
Story Time:
I built Auctions on Nerd Crawler to help Big Wow! Art auction artwork to help with Maui fire fundraising. Things were still fairly new, but Frank Cho heard about it, liked the idea, and said he would be interested in auctioning a piece to help out so he listed this 15x17" Power Girl commission-quality piece.
During the auction, I shipped an update to make bidding better by adding a slide-to-bid option. I tested it out on the Power Girl auction, and it worked! I also figured since the bid was just a few bucks more than the previous bidder that the other bidder would come back, bid, and win the page.
The auction reaches the final 10 seconds, and there's no new bid. Then the auction ends and I'm the winning bidder!
I was stunned and had to tell my wife, "Hey...so I won the auction..." Thankfully, she wasn't too unhappy, and when we both saw it in person, we were floored at how amazing it is in person.
So, even though I wasn't planning on winning this piece, I'm so pumped to add it to my collection, and I hang it proudly on my office as a sign that maybe Nerd Crawler is going up from here!

A valid shipping address and default payment method are required to bid.
Slide the bid slider all the way to the right to make a bid at the suggested amount. Sliding will instantly create a bid, and the next bid amount will be based on the current bid and the next increment:
You can create a max bid to bid automatically for you up to your max bid.
If a bid is made near the end of an auction, the auction end time will be extended by 30 seconds to prevent sniping.
By sliding to bid, you commit to buy the listing if you are the winning bidder. If you are the winner, we will charge your default payment method 24 hours after the auction ends, or you can complete payment early by visiting the order detail page. If your default payment method fails or you fail to make payment for an auction you've won, your account will be at risk of being frozen.
