Once I found out I was going to MegaCon, Artgerm was the #1 person on my list to try and get a commission from. For this con, he was doing a raffle of approximately 10 spots for people who got in his line by 10:15am (the con opens around 10am). This is probably the most fair way to do it given the demand.
So, Friday was my first day at the con, and I was second in line, but all the numbers that day were in the backend so I didn't get my spot.
Saturday was my last day at the con, and this time I was first in line. Since it's a random raffle, it really didn't matter if I was first or 20th, but being first was awesome because I got to talk with Stanley and Madeline about raising kids, building Nerd Crawler, how Stanley feels now that he's a big time artist. It was such a cool experience, and then my number was picked! So I gave Stanley the choice of either Savage Land Rogue or Power Girl, and he picked PG because I know he already drew at least one Rogue and he likes to mix it up.
I'm super happy with how it turned out!
