Hello Raremarq Community,
It’s been another busy week for the Raremarq team, and we’re excited to share a summary of new features and updates we've made that you may or may not have noticed.
Simplified, More Intuitive Auction Creation Flow
Big Improvements to Auction Creation Are Here!
We’ve completely overhauled our auction creation flow to make it simpler, smoother, and more intuitive than ever. Here are two of the biggest upgrades:
One Image Form to Rule Them All
No more juggling separate upload fields. Now, you can upload all your auction images—main and secondary—in one go. We’ve also added a handy progress bar so you can track your uploads, and easily add or remove images.
Save as Draft and Finish Later
Not ready to go live? No problem. You can now save your auction as a draft and return to it anytime from your Seller Dashboard. Drafts are only visible to you, so you can take your time finalizing all the details before publishing.
Mentions Are Live
Ever want to reply directly to someone during an auction, livestream, or on a piece feed—but weren’t sure they’d see it? Now you can!
You can mention other Raremarq community members by typing @ followed by their username (no spaces). When you do, they’ll get a notification letting them know you’ve mentioned them—so your message won’t get lost in the scroll.
Start conversations, ask questions, or give shoutouts—@Mentions make it easier than ever to connect with fellow collectors and creators.
More Visibility for Purchases on User Profiles:
We’ve shown the number of pieces sold by a seller for a while now, but after getting feedback from the community, we felt it was time to show the community how many pieces a user has also bought! With this added level of fan transparency, there’s a new layer of trust added to the community, and sellers can feel confident selling.
Easy Access Bid FAQ
Got questions about bidding? We’ve got answers—right where you need them. We’ve added a handy tooltip next to the bid slider that opens up an easy-to-read Bid FAQ, covering the most common questions about bidding on Raremarq.
If you spot something we missed or have suggestions, we’d love to hear from you at [email protected].
Huge thanks to our amazing community of creators and fans who continue to share feedback and help us make Raremarq better every day. More updates coming soon!
A valid shipping address and default payment method are required to bid.
Slide the bid slider all the way to the right to make a bid at the suggested amount. Sliding will instantly create a bid, and the next bid amount will be based on the current bid and the next increment:
You can create a max bid to bid automatically for you up to your max bid.
If a bid is made near the end of an auction, the auction end time will be extended by 30 seconds to prevent sniping.
By sliding to bid, you commit to buy the listing if you are the winning bidder. If you are the winner, we will charge your default payment method 24 hours after the auction ends, or you can complete payment early by visiting the order detail page. If your default payment method fails or you fail to make payment for an auction you've won, your account will be at risk of being frozen.
