Tell us about your background and your origin in the comic industry
3-Wishes started in 2007 with representing Philip Tan and Jay Anacleto. I was on a Vegas weekend with one of my best friends from High School, Brian Haberin. He had recruited some top talent from the Philippines in Philip Tan and Jay Anacleto and they were doing published work with him. He had a stack of original art from them and asked if I wanted to buy any, as he knew I had been collecting art since 1979. I committed to buy a few pieces and Brian asked “You’re a business guy and you know the art market. Do you want to Represent these guys?” I jumped at the chance and built the 3-Wishes Studio from there artist by artist.
Tell us about 3 Wishes
After a couple of years, I was lucky enough to have Stephen Segovia reach out to me in 2010 to see if I would represent him. I immediately said yes! Next, I was a big fan of Carlo Pagulayan’s works, and knew they were friends so I asked for a soft introduction. Stephen being who he is, did so and Carlo joined up. Stephen has really helped me build this amazing group of professionals. After Carlo it continued to blossom from there. Talent follows talent and my reputation as an honest straight shooter helped Michael, Ibraim, Eric, Lucas, Lucio, Mark, Lay L. and Joao join outside of Stephen’s influence. I am happy to announce here, first time, that Joe Chiodo is now part of the 3-Wishes family.

What inspired you to start using Raremarq and what are you auctioning?
Well you were kind enough to reach out the past two SDCC’s and Carlo gave me a kick in the …., I mean a gentle nudge and we finally pulled the trigger. What I have on hand to sell now are remarks by Philip Tan and some original art. Carlo plans to do sketch covers and we will add more art as we go.
Where can fans find you?
I have found that Comicartfans.com is the best one stop shop ever. I can build galleries for each of the artists and when I post art, for three days it lets their fans know it is there and for sale.
