Fletch-A-Sketch
Tell us about your background and your comic industry origin
I grew up a comic fan, collecting since I was 8 years old. I was a sports cards/comic book retailer with my brother for a couple of years, where I met some folks from DC Comics. We sold the store to another retailer, then I interviewed and got a job with DC as a Sales Representative. I was at DC for almost 3 years, left for a position at Wizard as their Price Guide Manager, then went to Marvel as their Sales Manager for a year before returning to DC Comics as the Events Manager. I stayed there for 19 years, climbing to the position of Executive Director of Events. I took all that experience and industry knowledge to launch Fletch Forward Event Solutions (FFES) where I consult with other exhibitors on all aspects of conventions planning and execution. Over the years working events I made lifelong friendships with some of the most talented people in the industry, which then led to the launch of Fletch-A-Sketch Talent Representation (FASTR) a couple of months ago!
Tell us about Fletch-A-Sketch
Fletch-A-Sketch is composed of people I love and respect! How it started: I had a meal with friends of mine who were looking for representation and wanted to know if I'd be interested in helping them. I took some time to consider because this is something I had no experience in doing. But, bottom line, my friendships and relationships are vital to me. I want to do right by them and want them to succeed. It truly is an honor to work with people I trust and respect and to fully collaborate and build something from scratch. There have been and will be a lot of learning and lessons along the way, but we do it together as a team with full engagement and transparency. We're building something special here!
Who are some of the artists you represent?
I represent a diverse and extremely talented group of artists. In alphabetical order, Bernard Chang, Riccardo Federici, Ema Lupacchino, Dustin Nguyen and Giulia Pellegrini...plus others who will be announced very soon!
Where can fans find you?
Next up, I'll be at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, bouncing around on the floor between FFES clients Comixology (booth #1935) and Ghost Machine (#1918), and also with MeTV/ Svengoolie on Saturday night 7:30pm panel in Room 7AB.
Later in October, I'll be in New York Comic Con 2025 where FASTR will have a presence! You can also contact me online through the FFES or FASTR websites, or on our official Instagram accounts (@fletchforwardes and @fletch.a.sketch1) and Facebook accounts.

Tell us about yourself and what got you interested in drawing
My artistic history is a bit strange. For as long as I can remember, I've always drawn, painted, and sculpted with plasticine and clay. It was a pastime I always found simple, and, ironically, I gave little importance to my artistic side for 29 years. Then my dearest and closest friend convinced me to capitalize on my talents and launch me into the artistic field. So, out of the blue, without knowing anything about being an artist, almost for fun, in 2005 I took a test for a French comic book publisher and was hired as an artist. It all started from there.
Who were some of your early inspirations?
I'm Italian, and my artistic inspirations have always been around me. I love the art of the 16th century and the second half of the 19th century. As for contemporary artists, I don't have any sources of inspiration: I look at everything and everyone, but I try to stay true to myself.
What are some of your favorite comics you’ve worked on?
The Last God saga and Batman are my favorites..for the moment.
Favorite character(s) to draw?
Since I started working for the US, I've discovered that I enjoy working on different projects: I love the dynamism and variety.
What are you currently working on?
I'm currently working on several covers and interior pages for DC Comics (can't say more), and I'm also doing some illustrations for Wizard of the Coast. Furthermore, like all artists, I also work on commissions from private clients.
Where can fans find you?
