What were some of your early inspirations?
Well, I’ve gone through some phases during my life. As a kid it was all about 80s cartoons. Shows like Thundercats, He-Man, TMNT and Silverhawks were some of my favorites. Then I got into comics from TV shows like the Batman and X-Men animated series. In my teens, it was all about video games like Metal Gear, Resident Evil, God of War and so on. I’ve always been stimulated by visuals so I've always been drawn to sci-fi stuff no matter the medium.
Where might fans have seen your work?
I was exclusive with Marvel for many years and worked on all my childhood heroes. I’ve done some X-Men, Spidergeddon, Thor and Star Wars. Then I did some Batman issues for DC and since then I’ve been mainly focusing on covers for DC and doing concept work for video games.
