Tell us about yourself and what got you interested in drawing

I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Italy, I was fascinated by fantasy, mythology, and classical art. Very early on I understood that drawing wasn’t just a hobby, it was how I expressed myself. Over time that passion became my profession, but at its core it’s still the same: I love creating powerful characters and dramatic worlds through images.

Who were some of your early inspirations?

Artists like Frank Frazetta and Boris Vallejo had a huge impact on me, their strength, sensuality, and epic compositions really shaped my vision.

I’m also deeply inspired by the master artists of past centuries. Painters and illustrators like Caravaggio, Bouguereau, Gérôme, and Ciseri, whose understanding of anatomy, light, and drama continues to influence my work today.

What are some of your favorite projects you’ve worked on?

Working on covers for Marvel Comics and DC Comics has been a major milestone in my career. I’ve especially enjoyed painting characters rooted in fantasy and strength. Those projects allow me to explore the themes that first made me fall in love with art.

Favorite character(s) to draw?

I’m naturally drawn to iconic, powerful figures like Red Sonja, Vampirella, and Conan the Barbarian. They combine beauty, strength, and mythology, which is a perfect space for me creatively.

I also enjoy painting villains because they often bring intensity and dramatic presence to an image. Hulk and Joker are my favorites.

What are you currently working on?

Top secret! … joking! I’m currently working on new cover projects and select personal pieces that continue to explore heroic fantasy themes. I’m always trying to refine my technique while staying connected to the classical foundations that shaped my style.

What inspired you to start using Raremarq, and what pieces will you be auctioning?

Raremarq gives me the opportunity to connect directly with collectors in a more exclusive and curated way. For the auction, I’ll be offering select original artworks and pieces that I hope people will appreciate!
