Nerd Crawler has grown a lot since we started as a simple original art alert app in June 2022, and since then, our marketplace has grown dramatically. And as we grow, we've done our best to shelter our community from the rising costs associated. However, as these costs are growing faster and faster, we're announcing a change to our Seller Escrow Fee rates.
Starting July 1, 2024, our Seller Escrow Fees will change to the following:
1. Pro members’ escrow fee per transaction will increase from 2% to 2.5%
2. Hobbyist members’ escrow fee per transaction will increase from 3% to 4%
3. Free members’ escrow fee per transaction will increase from 4% to 6%
This update will help us cover more of our rising operating and global payment processing costs while still keeping our seller fee much lower than the 10-20% charged by other platforms.
But, we want to reward our early suppoerts so if you were to upgrade to the Pro or Hobbyist Plans before July 1, 2024, then your Seller Escrow Fee would be locked in at their current rates of 2 or 3% respectively as long as you keep your subscription active.
Upgrading now is ideal if you’d ever like to sell on Nerd Crawler with a lower escrow fee. If you were to cancel or downgrade from either of these plans and you wanted to upgrade back to them after July 1, 2024, then your Seller Escrow Fee would be based on the new rate. To learn more about the different tiers, visit the Memberships page.

A valid shipping address and default payment method are required to bid.
Slide the bid slider all the way to the right to make a bid at the suggested amount. Sliding will instantly create a bid, and the next bid amount will be based on the current bid and the next increment:
You can create a max bid to bid automatically for you up to your max bid.
If a bid is made near the end of an auction, the auction end time will be extended by 30 seconds to prevent sniping.
By sliding to bid, you commit to buy the listing if you are the winning bidder. If you are the winner, we will charge your default payment method 24 hours after the auction ends, or you can complete payment early by visiting the order detail page. If your default payment method fails or you fail to make payment for an auction you've won, your account will be at risk of being frozen.
