Her relationship with Xavier brings the X-Men into cosmic conflicts (like the Dark Phoenix Saga). She is a noble but often ruthless ruler, prioritizing the empire's safety over individuals. Her death during War of Kings was a major turning point for the cosmic Marvel landscape.
