Patrick Mulligan Original Art

Patrick Mulligan was an NYPD officer who became the host of Toxin, the spawn of Carnage. Toxin is the 1000th symbiote in the lineage, theoretically stronger than both Venom and Carnage. Mulligan struggles to control the feral urges of the suit while trying to be a "good cop."

The design is sleek—red from the waist up, blue/black from the waist down. Toxin represents the potential for a symbiote to be a true hero. Mulligan's internal dialogue with the childlike but deadly symbiote provides a unique dynamic. He is a tragic figure, trying to protect his family from his own other half.
