Toxin Original Art

The Son of Carnage. Toxin is the third generation of the symbiote line (Venom -> Carnage -> Toxin) and arguably the most powerful. Visually, he is distinct—red from the waist up, black from the waist down. The host, Patrick Mulligan, was a cop, trying to be a hero, creating an interesting internal conflict.

Drawn by Patrick Gleason, Toxin looks sleeker than Venom but bulkier than Carnage. Collectors look for his first appearance in the Venom/Carnage mini-series. He represents the potential for a symbiote to be a true hero.

He is hunted by Carnage and feared by Venom. He teams up with Spider-Man to stop his "father."
